Physical Recreation

Boys may gain two activity Credits in Physical Recreation in the same session. Training periods for gaining each Credit will cover 12 practical sessions each of a minimum of 30 minutes actual instruction. Boys should be expected to wear suitable kit (e.g. shorts, vest and gym shoes).
As a guide to possible progression:
Grade 1
Programme from Warm up exercises
Relays
Minor games
Potted Sports
Grade 2
Warm up exercises (start with these in each session)
Circuit training and events as in Grade 1.
Grade 3
Warm up exercises (start with these in each session) As for Grade 2 but including more advanced work.
A record of weekly activities should be kept. This is expected to show a wide variety of activities.
Throughout a good standard of punctuality, keenness and behaviour is to be expected. further each member should show an improvement during the period and achieve a standard of performance appropriate to his age and development.
A clear improvement in standard should be seen as they progress from Grade to Grade
