1st Stage: Principles and practice of First Aid; Action at an emergency, Unconsciousness and Artificial Respiration, Bleeding, Bruises, Dressings and bandages (triangular), Shock, Immobilisation of limbs, Observations of a patient, Burns and Scalds, General rules for poisons, Miscellaneous conditions, Transport.

2nd Stage: Structure and Function of the body, Asphyxia, Wounds and Roller bandaging, Shock and fainting, Fractures, Muscles and Joint injuries, Burns and scalds, Poisoning - causes, Effects of cold and heat, Transport.

3rd Stage: The Skeleton, respiration and circulation, Electrical injuries, Internal bleeding and chest injuries, Heart attacks, strokes, fits, diabetes, asthma, Fractures, Displaced cartilage of knee, Burns of mouth and throat, corrosive chemical injuries, Poisoning - Common poisons, Road accidents and use. of stretcher.
