Arts & Crafts Certificates
Awarded to Boys who have attended regularly a Course of Instruction of at least 12 classes and have attained a satisfactory standard of merit in the under noted subjects or other subjects approved by the Brigade Executive. The Brigade Executive reserve the right to call for the submission of syllabus of instruction before approving any proposed new subject.

Arts & Crafts Certificate 1961

Arts & Crafts Badge
Awarded to Boys of 13 B.B. Age or more and who hold three Arts and Crafts Certificates in either the same or different subjects gained in two or more sessions.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award: The Arts and Crafts Badge qualifies a Boy in the Pursuits Section at Bronze level.

First Advanced Certificate:
Awarded to Boys of 14 B.B. Age or more who hold the Arts & Crafts Badge and who gain a fourth Certificate in any of the approved subjects.

1st Advanced Art & Crafts Certificate 1962

Second Advanced Certificate:
Awarded to Boys of 15 B.B. Age or more who hold the First Advanced Certificate and who gain a fifth Certificate in any of the approved subjects.

Third Advanced Certificate: 
Awarded to Boys of 16 B.B. Age or more who hold the Second Advanced Certificate and who gain a sixth Certificate in any of the approved subjects.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award: A First Advanced Certificate qualifies a Boy in the Pursuits Section at Silver level, and a Second Advanced Certificate at Gold level; provided the course of instruction covers a period of at least six and nine months respectively.
